STRIPPING/WAXING VCT FLOORS
1. APPLY NYCO LOW-ODOR FLOOR STIPPER (6506471) WITH MOP OF ANY KIND. IF
YOU ARE RE-SURFACING A LARGE AREA, DO SMALL AREAS AT A TIME.
2. USE FLOOR BUFFER WITH BLACK STRIPPING PAD TO STRIP THE FLOOR. USE THE
CENTER PIECE ON THE BLACK STRIPPING PAD TO CLEAN THE BASEBOARDS.
3. REPEAT STEPS 1 & 2 IF NEEDED.
4. ALLOW FLOORS TO DRY. ONCE DRY- TRY TO REMOVE ALL DUST AND LINT FROM
FLOOR.
5. LINE A MOP BUCKET OR 5-GALLON BUCKET WITH A CONTRACTOR TRASH BAG AND
FILL WITH SMALL PORTIONS OF NYCO HIGH-GLOSS HARD-COAT FLOOR FINISH
(6506968). USE SMALL PORTIONS AT A TIME; AS THIS WAX WILL START DRYING
AS SOON AS IT HITS AIR (AND IT DRIES QUICK!).
6. APPLY NYCO WAX WITH A *RAYON* MOP (8914152) IN THIN COATS. *RAYON
MOP IS REQUIRED FOR THIS STEP. RAYON MOPS DO NOT RELEASE ANY LINT*
7. REPEAT STEP 6 TO PERSONAL PREFERENCE (USUALLY NO MORE THAN 2-3
COATS). ALLOW WAX TO AIR DRY BETWEEN COATS. DO NOT USE FANS TO SPEED
THIS PROCESS UP.
